Wishful Wednesday and Bumpdates!

Time for ...

And miss darling Kelsey has a WONDERFUL wish for us ...

 'I Wish' .... I could come home to THIS bedroom each and every night!!

{Now we ALL know I can't choose just ONE.  And also, I have the most random taste ever.  I mean like I like everything.  SO, forgive the "all-over-the-placeness"}

{First, HELLO teal!  Second, I know that's shag but it looks like it would feel DEWISHOUS under my feet ... the bed could be a LITTLE more exciting, but still ...}

{I'm relaxed just LOOKING at this.}

{Getting even more relaxed ...}

{I can hear the new agey spa music playing now ...}

{LOVE all the grey.}

{I know this room's not realistic, but look at all the distressed wood on the walls.  LOVE.}

{With that view, I wouldn't care if there was a pull-out couch in this room ...}

But lets come back to reality here people.  Have you MET my Mister?  No?  Well, think "all American, sports-playin', all boy" type of guy.  He's easily annoyed by my design antics a LITTLE leery of anything that's too "out of the ordinary" so I have to reel it in a bit.  If it were up to him our bedroom would look something like this ...

With a few of these on the wall ...

So I'm lucky to get him to agree to the POSSIBILITY of painting our walls.  He was on the fence about that for awhile.  Plus, people, I'm about (in 6 months, eek!) to have a baby.  Babies are NOT clean people.  They are messy.  So I'm not sure it's time to go out and spend thousands on a remake of one of the afore mentioned bedrooms.  OH but a girl can dream ...

Onto the BUMPDATES!

How far along?  13 weeks today!

{Again, please pardon the need to use the "V" word ...}

Total weight gain/loss:  I think I might be close to 4 1/2 lbs.  I haven't weighed in a while.  But I FEEL like ...

Maternity clothes?  YUP!  Got a few more cute things for my bday!  Some aren't even maternity but should work throughout my pregnancy.

Sleep:  Much, MUCH better.  But HOLY crazy dreams Batman!  I mean I seriously start dreaming the MINUTE I shut my eyes and don't stop til I wake up.  It's like starring in a movie ALL. NIGHT. LONG.  It's a wonder I don't wake up exhausted.

Best moment this week:  My BIRFDAY (I know, nothing to do with the pregnancy.)

Have you told family and friends:  Family, friends, waiters, cashiers, people on the street, the television, cats, dogs ...

Movement:  Only when I have to potty ...

Food cravings:  Liking any food is good enough for me these days ...

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Meat, veggies, having to eat at all.  You know, pretty much everything ...

Have you started to show yet:  Definately getting a LITTLE bump.  "My bump, my bump, my bump, my lovely lady bump."  You know you're all singing.

Leakage:  Just from my eyes and nose as the month of May has decided to bring along psychotic sneezing with the day of my birth ...

Gender prediction:  Well, remember last week when we went to our genetics testing sono?  What I DIDN'T tell you is that he was able to tell that baby Fulmer is 95% BOY!!!  And this guy has a 95% track record of getting the gender prediction correct, so I'm THRILLED to announce that baby Fulmer is 95% likely to be a little BOY!!!  We're SOOOO excited!!!  We weren't going to tell anyone but since my Mister is going around telling everyone "Well it's 95% positive we're having a son" I figured I could share it with all of you.  And I was totally RIGHT by the way, I thought I was carrying a boy the whole week before we found out!!!

Labor Signs:  Um, no.

Belly Button in or out?  Onwards and inwards.

Wedding rings on or off?  On.

Happy or Moody most of the time:  This week I've been pretty happy most of the time.  That COULD have something to do with the showering of birfday presents and wishes ... ?

Weekly Wisdom:  Don't order chinese food from a place that is close JUST because it delivers and you're too lazy to go to Pei Wei and DON'T think that Sweet & Sour Chicken is "safe" ... because you'll get a box of fried chicken parts and a bucket of sweet and sour sauce and end up dry heaving at the sight of such chicken parts and eating fried rice and eggrolls for dinner ...

Milestones:  Someone at work saying "Aww, you've got a pooch!"  Hey, when you're pregnant you're EXCITED when someone notices.  You're not, however, excited when a stranger or aquaintance decides they want to touch your belly ... seriously, it's still pretty close to my stomach.  That's a bit violating.  You might as well go ahead and touch my boob.

That's ALL for the BUMPDATES!  Have a LOVERLY Wednesday loverlies!!!

It's My Party And I'll Post If I Want To ...

First off, THANK YOU all for the wonderful birfday wishes!!!  You all made my day with your sweet SWEET comments!!!  Second, I thought I'd do a little ...

{Side rant; is blogger being a gigantic pain in the arse sketchy for anyone else?  Unless I put my pictures 50 feet at the bottom of the page, it posts them at the TOP.  Um, quit it blogger.  QUIT IT.  End rant.}

I know, I know, you're thinking "Katie, how could you POSSIBLY be tempted by anything, you've just been showered with more than you deserve for your birfday?"  Well, this is actually just one thing.  And I didn't go seeking it out, it popped up on a search engine that generates things that it thinks I would like.  And BOY was it right ...

{Hello lover.}

And, ahem, hello TEAL

And that is all of my tempation for today.  Because that temptation costs enough to last for several posts.  I know, I know, I just GOT a purse.

"Hello, my name is Katie and I'm a purse-a-holic."

Don't worry, I'm getting help.  So, what's tempting you these days?  Head on over to my Soulmatey's blog, grab her button and play (even if she's not playing today due to the fact that she's honeymooning with her new Mister) oh and wish her congrats while you're there.  Since she just got MAWWIED n' all!

Now, onto to my girl's night birfday dinner last night.  BOY did we have fun!  I sure love my family and all the girls in it.  We went to Maggiano's, which bythaway is where the Mister and I had our rehearsal dinner.  AMAZING food.  After eating so much I'm not sure how the baby had room endulging in some yummy food we opened presents (that I LOVED) and snapped a few pics ...

{My Mama, me, my momma, my cousin Natalie.}

{My Silly, cousin Britney, Mama and me.}

 {My momma n' me.}

And I KNOW we took a picture with my cousin Erica in it, but SOMETIMES my cousins get a hold of my camera whilst looking at pictures we took and DELETE them without telling me because they don't like them of themselves ... ahem ... Britney?  Would you like to fess up?

Anyways, we had ourselves a good time.  And some YUMMY berry tirimasu.  MMMMMM

And last, but CERTAINLY not least, we have a WINNER of this little beaute (personalized to your baby's/reciever of baby gift baby's gender and letter of their first name of course) ...

And the WINNER is, drumroll please .............

KIM from Kendall's Smile!!!  Kim, email me @ katiefulmer@hotmail.com to claim your prize!!!  Congrats cute girl, and thanks to all who entered.

Happy Tuesday loverlies!!!

They Say It's Your Birfday ...

Da nuh na nuh nuh.

Go shawty, it's your birfday, we gonna party like it's yo' birfday!

And all those other songs that talk about birfdays.  That's RIGHT folks (and I know you're all so VERY excited) it's my BIRFDAY!  Last one in the 20's folks.  The big 2-9.  And now that I'm thinking about it, who's idea was it to schedule my last birfday childless when I'm not able to have a cocktail!?!?  Oh well, I'll just have to double celebrate next year.  I think I can handle that.  It really hasn't bothered me at ALL thus far until we attended a friend's crawfish shindig on Saturday night and there was a LOVERLY pitcher of Sangria that just looking mouth wateringly appetizing.  But really since then (maybe it's the constant need to hurl/indegestion/non-stop oh so attractive belching that's helped take away the desire) I haven't really cared about endulging in adult beverages.  PLUS, how oh so very worth it is to miss out on cocktails here and there when in about about 6 months I'll be holding my little bundle of joy!  SO, instead of me having a birthday cocktail to celebrate the day o' my birth I think all of YOU should have one FOR me!  Think you can handle that?  Up to the challenge?  Thanks, I really 'preciate your sacrifice.

This weekend was a F-U-N birfday weekend.  Friday night the Mister and I went out for dinner, but he's informed me that that's not my ACTUAL birfday dinner and that we will be going to dinner at one of our FAVORITE steak restaurants BEFORE he takes me to see this ...

EEEEEEEEE, I'm SO excited!  This will be my 3RD time to see Wicked and I'm giddy about it!!!  If you live in the Dallas area I HIGHLY recommend you do whatever you can, sell a kidney if you need to to go see it!  I'm PUMPED!

Saturday night, after going to our friend's crawfish boil for a bit, we did my birfday dinner with my mom, Rich, the twinkies (my brother and sister that are 10 if you're a new reader), my brother and Silly (Sis-in-law if you're a new reader) and my Mama (pronounced Ma-MAW if you're a new reader, and if you are, bythaway, WELCOME!).  We ate at Houlihans and had a YUMSTERS dinner and then headed back to my momma's for presents.

I got some wonderful goodies, one being this purse from my momma ...

Which I LOVE!  I told her I needed a summer purse (insert the Mister's eye roll here) and this is what she came up with!  I'm so glad my momma's got good taste!

Tonight we're having my girl's birfday dinner with my cousins, Mama and mom at a YUMMY Italian restaurant in Dallas which I'm SUPER de DUPER excited about, but for now I'll leave you with a few pictures of my birfday dinner on Saturday night.

{Me n' my Silly.}

{Me n' my Mister.  Pardon my "Something About Mary Bangs" I had them pinned back and didn't realized they looked like this ... I'm in that akward "growing them out/they're driving me NUTS" stage ...}

 {Me and my Mama.  I look like a giant pregnant woman coming to attack her.  Oh the dreaded "seat in front" picture ...}

{Me n' my little sister, Ally-belle.}

And that's all for today loverlies.  I hope you all had FANTASTIC weekends, oh, and did I mention my SOULMATEY'S MAWWIED!  Cause she is!  It all went down without a hitch ... well there was a little "hitch" but I'll wait and let her tell you about it.  CONGRATS SOULMATEY!!!  I WUV YOU!!!

Also, last but not least, don't forget to enter my GIVEAWAY!!!  It ends tonight, read more about it here (or back there when I linked it up).  Good luck all!!!

Favorite Friday & Happy Birfday Weekend to ME!

First off, a little ...

Favorite Fridays

to get the Friday party train goin'!  WOO WOO!  Oh, I'm so excited it's Friday, which I'm SURE y'all are too!  AND this weekend is my birfday weekend and my Soulmatey's Wedding Weekend!!!  But more about those later.  Today's favorite Friday topic IS ...

Favorite R&B Singer!

Now I'm going to go throw-back on y'all.  I just have to.  Because my favorite type of music is ALREADY 80s and early 90s.  So, for this Favorite Friday I have two.  They are ...

Sing it with me ...

"Boyz II Men
Boyz II Men
Boyz II Men
Boyz II Men
Boyz, Boyz, Boyz
Boyz II Men, ABC, BBD
(Mm-hmm)"

Totally made up about 15 dances in middle school to this and several other songs on the Cooleyhighharmony album.  Don't worry, it came out in 1993.  And I still love it.

Also, and this one's still relevant but I started liking her WAY back in the 90s when she came out with Real Love.

Love me some Mary J.  ...

"Real love, I'm searchin' for a real love
Someone to set my heart free
Real love, IIIIII'MMMM searchin' for a real love
I got. to have. a real love"

So there you have it, even though I have a TON more, like New Edition, Babyface, Whitney Houston (HELLO), Color Me Badd (don't hate) and the list goes on and on ...

Now, since I've notsomuch been awesome at posting a lot of youngster pictures for my birf month, and since this is my birfday weekend n' all (I'll recap about that Monday of COURSE), I'm going to leave you this LOVERLY Friday with more than just one youngster picture.  I apologize that every time I find some pictures they're all from the same age, but that's just what we got.  I have no idea how old I am in these pictures, but APPARENTLY my mom thought I was a model with the amount of professional pictures she had taken of me.  Or maybe it was just first child syndrome.  I'm thinking it was the latter because I can totally see myself doing the same thing.  Oh and the one of me holding the little pudgy bundle of joy, that's Claytonious, or Clay, my little brudder.  Oh and please ignore my hair color, I've always been a NATURAL blonde, I just apparently must have loved dying my hair that lovely dishwater blonde/brown hair color when I was a kid (she says as her nose starts to grow) ...

{I look a little TOO angelic in this pic.  I'm guessing I just stole someone's cookie ...}

{Mewwy Christmas!}

 {A girl always needs a red see-through visor.}

{Pudgy little Clayton.  SUCH a cute baby!}

{And this is what I'll look like this weekend.  Except 25 years older and MAYBE 2 inches taller.  I'm kidding, but not much ...}

And a VERY Happy Wedding Day TOMORROW to my Soulmatey and DGC!!!  If you haven't already sent her well wishes on her blog, run over and do so NOW!!!  LOVES YOU SOULMATEY!!!

{Aren't they just the cutest?  I think so!  They're going to be Mr. and Mrs. by this time Sunday!}

Happy weekend dolls!  Be safe and make it a good one!!!

Thoughtless Thursday!

Photobucket

Today's Thoughtless Thursday (if you don't know how to play click here) is going to be REALLY thoughtless.  Why, you ask?  Well because I think these pretty much speak for themselves ...

{Little profile of our baby love!}

{Full body profile shot of Baby Fulmer!}

The doc says we have a healthy 12 week baby growing right on track!  All I can say is, I'm in love ...

{Oh and I had to add this picture one of my parent's Labs. Bentley I know you're still a puppy and all, but show some modesty little lady! Sheesh.}

Wishful Wednesday and a Pregnancy Updates!

It's time for my darling friend (Yes real LIFE friend, we grew up in the same church and she was friends with my brother!  Of course we didn't figure this out until we found each other's blogs, but whatev's) Kelsey's ...

And today's topic IS ...

'I Wish' .... I hadn't thrown away my Rolex!!!

Um, yes, you read that correctly.  At least I might as WELL have thrown it out.  Here's the story.  My mom gave me the Rolex my dad had given her when I turned 18.  I LOVED it, one, because hello free Rolex, but two, it had sentimental value.  So, one ill-fated day when I was at the gym (WHO wears a Rolex to the gym?  Um, apparently I do, but it was stainless steel, it's pretty much unbreakable, so I pretty much never took it off, except ...) I was jogging on the treadmill and it kept banging against my wrist, you know that little bone that sticks out on your wrist?  So I TOOK IT OFF (idiot Kate, idiot) and when I finished running I apparently had gigantic brain flatulence and left WITHOUT PUTTING IT BACK ON.  I got about 3 minutes from the YMCA and freaked out, starting crying, hyperventilated realized that I had left it on the treadmill and drove like a crazed maniac/bat out of hell headed back to the Y to get it.  Between the 15 minutes that I had left and came back to the Y, someone stole it.  Seriously.  No one brought it to the front desk, it wasn't under the treadmill or anywhere near it, and I'm BETTING the d-bag that took it SAW me looking frantically for it and stood by like the d-bag they were and watched.  So then I took my sad self, head hanging low n' all, and went home where I proceeded to cry for the next week.  Not only because it was worth more than my life expensive, but also because it was sentimental.  And of course, my luck, it wasn't insured.  Seriously, WHO finds something like that and doesn't turn it in!?!?  And at the YMCA!  This is a family establishment people!  A d-bag, that's who.  As you can tell, I'm still a little bitter about it all.  So, since then I now steal all lost expensive items I find.  I kid, I kid.  But seriously, if anyone in the Texas area has ever been approached by a sleeze-bag trying to sell them a Rolex, let me know wouldja?  Oh and call the cops.  Thankyouverymuch

Next, I'm going to be a straight copycat and do this little weekly-pregnancy-update-quiz-thingy that I've seen other bloggers do.  More for my own amusement than yours, but hopefully it doesn't bore you to tears keeps you entertained!

How far along? 12 weeks TODAY.

{Pardon the detail of my abdomen area, easy babycenter.com, no need to spell out the "V" word ...}

Total weight gain/loss: 3 lbs, all in the gut.  I'm pretty sure I'm sportin' what looks like a beer belly.

Maternity clothes? Did I TELL you that my MIL hooked me up?  Cause she did.

Stretch marks? Good gracious I hope not yet.

Sleep: It's getting difficult at night.  I can't get comfortable flinging this little beer belly back and forth, so, I invested in one of these beauties ...

Except mine is giraffe print.  I'm easing into learning how to spoon with a gigantic pillow.

Best moment this week: I'm going to go with having our sono today.  It hasn't happened yet, but I'm pretty sure it will beat being sick ...

Have you told family and friends: Heck yes, I have the patience of a 2 year old.  Try week 4 ...

Movement: I'm still moving okay but sometimes I get up slower because ... oh you meant baby.  No.

Food cravings: No actual cravings, just things that actually sound EDIBLE and don't make me want to vom.  Those things would be cereal and string cheese.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Pretty much anything food-related.  I thought this was easing up last week, oh but that was just a nice little teaser ... nice.

Have you started to show yet: Um, see yesterday's picture.

Leakage: Um, ewww.  No.  And if this happens someone should've probably warned me.  GA-ROSS.

Gender prediction: Totally think boy.  No idea why, just a feeling.

Labor Signs: Thank goodness gracious no.

Belly Button in or out? Innie.

Wedding rings on or off? Am I washing my hands or putting on lotion?  Then off.  All other circumstances, on.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Depends.  Cross me in traffic when I JUST WANT TO GET HOME?  You better watch out.  Seriously, angry crazy pregnant lady coming you way.  Laying on the couch once I've gotten home with my pup and a bowl of cereal or is it the weekend?  Couldn't be happier.

Weekly Wisdom: It's okay.  Your stomach is SUPPOSED to be getting pudgy.  You're not just coincidentally getting fat.

Milestones: Hitting the 12 week mark!

And in keeping with the birth month pictures, here you go.  I felt senior picture time was in order ...
Doesn't everyone sit on a rock by a babbling brook every day?  Completely natural ...

Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway, you can read about it here.  Happy Wednesday loverlies!!!

Not Feelin' So Hot Tuesday ...

Happy Tuesday to my loverly readers.  I hope it's a happier Tuesday for y'all than it is for me.  Why?  Because I'm not feeling so hot.  But don't cry for me Life In the Fulmer Laner's, I'm doing a whole lotta lounging on the couch and snoozin'.  I am sure I'll be back to 100% of my crazy self tomorrow.  But for now, I have to go try and feel less like this ...

And more like this ...

So for now, since it's such a short post, I'll leave you with a belly pic.  A 12 week one at that.  To PROVE to you guys that I do, indeed, have a need for maternity clothes.

Disclaimer:  I will not take bare belly pics.  Nothing against them or people that do them, they're just not for me.  So all my "belly pics" will be under clothes.

There you go.  I'll post another one when it looks bigger.  Maybe at 16 weeks.  Ha, or at the rate that it looks like it's going, maybe NEXT week!  Happy Tuesday loverlies!!!
