It's not just us humans that are affected by the 100+ degree heat. It puts a pretty big damper on Koda bear's outdoor playtime. So how do we beat the heat and still wear the pup out at the same time?
Indoor fetch, that's how. 15 minutes later and I now have one pooped pup.
My yellow lab has that SAME look if you hold a ball up for her! Sadly, I live in a house with hardwoods, so we had to stop the indoor fetch after we realized she was scratching the floor up! But it is cool enough here in the NW that we can play fetch outside most days...or at least head to the water and fetch sticks in the water!
ReplyDeleteHa, we do the same thing at our house. Except we use the squeaky toy!
ReplyDeleteWe do indoor fetch too! our dog likes to track smells so we also play "track the treat" and I hide a treat somewhere in the house (she finds it in about two minutes but still it beats going outside).
