I am the Mrs. We live in TX. We were married on April 23, 2005 and grow more in love (and patient, ha!) each day. We welcomed our first sweet boy on November 5th, 2010 and our second one on February 9, 2013! We look forward to the path and adventures the Lord has in store for us!
It's not just us humans that are affected by the 100+ degree heat. It puts a pretty big damper on Koda bear's outdoor playtime. So how do we beat the heat and still wear the pup out at the same time?
Indoor fetch, that's how. 15 minutes later and I now have one pooped pup.
My yellow lab has that SAME look if you hold a ball up for her! Sadly, I live in a house with hardwoods, so we had to stop the indoor fetch after we realized she was scratching the floor up! But it is cool enough here in the NW that we can play fetch outside most days...or at least head to the water and fetch sticks in the water!
We do indoor fetch too! our dog likes to track smells so we also play "track the treat" and I hide a treat somewhere in the house (she finds it in about two minutes but still it beats going outside).

ReplyDeleteHa, we do the same thing at our house. Except we use the squeaky toy!
