Favorite Fridays, Partay & A WINNER!

Favorite Fridays

It's that time again chickadees.  Favorite Friday over at A Girl in Pearls and A Boy With Toys!  And

TODAY'S topic is ...

Favorite Place to Shop for Home Decor

This subject depends largely on the size of my pocketbook.  Do I have unlimited funds regarding this matter or no?  Because IF I have unlimited funds, my choices are going to be none other than ...

ANNNNDDDD ...

With maybe a little ...

Mixed in.

HOWEVER.  If my pocketbook isn't so ... let's just call it, HEFTY.  Then ...

And ...

Do the trick JUST fine.

Not that I'm saying I wouldn't LURVE to swipe my card ever so frequently at the first trifecta mentioned.  But let's be realistic here kids.  I'm not paying $1,000+ for bedding when I can get it at Target for $89.  Apparently that's what happens when you marry a CPA.  You become ... frugal, for lack of a better (politer) word.  SO, where is YOUR favorite place to buy home decor?  Head on over to Jen's blog and link up and SHARE, won't you?

On another note.  Last night was my "Girl's Night St. Patty's Day" ... well apparently what happens when you send the Evite out a week and a half before the party instead of 3 1/2 weeks before the party, the guest list ... shrinks.  A bit.  And people do this WEIRD thing like make plans!  I don't get it ... SO, I ended up with two, yes TWO, people.  However it was two of my most favoritest people, and closest bestest friends.  Yes I know I used too many "est"s.  And?

So here's a few pictures of the "Girl's Night St. Patty's Day" i.e. "Night O' Fun With Gin & My MOH" ...

Most amazing dip EVER.  It involves shredded Jarlsberg, red onions & mayo.  What a combo.  Yumsters.

Gin MADE (yes, I said MADE, such a foreign concept to this microwaving, bread pyro-ing, ordering-out pro) these AH-MAZING cake balls!  Um, let me just say, the inside was not cake, but was in fact, Oreo & cream cheese.
D-LISH.

And had ourselves a lot little of this.  Which is. hands down. best. champagne. I've ever had.  It's sweet like grape juice.  Which also makes it borderline dangerous.  And $5.99 a pop I might add.  Not too shabby, NOOOOT too shabby ...

Me n' my MOH ...

Me n' Gin ...

And of course, me n' Koda bear.  He's always ready to party with the girls ... Did I mention we changed it to pajama-wear?  It was Koda's idea.  He likes cute girls like that ...

We ended up having a REALLY fun, REALLY laid back and REALLY relaxing evening.  I LURVES my girls!!!

Now, on to the VERY last (but not least, free stuff is NEVER least) order of bidness.  Thank you to ALL of you that took time to enter my giveaway.  I had a LOT of fun participating in it and I think this next part is going to be even MORE fun.  What part is that you ask?  Well announcing the WINNER, that's what!  AND, the WINNER IS (drumroll please) badabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadabadaaaaaaa ...

Don't be alarmed if you don't see your name, they continue on to the back ...

Tada!  Amber from The Survival Guide for the Young, Fabulous & Newlywed!  Congrats my dear!  Email me your address and contact phone number and I will get it to Jessica at CSN Stores!!!  A BIG thankyouverymuch to CSN Stores for hosting this FANTASTIC giveaway!!!  I hope your sweet pups enjoy their new bed Amber!  Make sure they SHARE :)

  1. OMG I totally thought of that when I was picking my FF too...Well if budget wasn't an issue, then I'd certainly have different picks! As it is, with the one I picked, it's not like I shop there once a month or anything. Like you, big Homegoods fan!

Thanks for playing! Since you're away maybe I'll just mclinky for you!

  15. Just found you blog and love it!

I agree with your list of stores if money were no object, especially Neiman Marcus ;) I wish we had a Hobby Lobby nearby. We only have Michael’s. I do love Target and Home Goods for reasonably priced home décor. I’m actually really excited about Target’s Liberty of London line.

The party sounds fun, even if it was a little less people than you expected. It sounds like just the right people were there. I love cake balls and that dip sounds delish. You ladies are so cute and your dog is adorable!

    Have a great weekend!
