This Is Getting Ridiculous ...

So apparently as the time for little man's arrival draws more near I become a horrible blogger.  I'm not super busy in any way shape or form, but I am realizing there are a lot of things to be done in the 10ish weeks I have left before we have another life here to care for.  EEK!  And also Wednesday mornings are now Bible Study mornings which means the blog is not getting done before lunch time which USUALLY means, it's not getting done.  There's really no excuse except to say I'm sorry and I'm TRYING I promise!  In the meantime y'all haven't missed out on much except that it torrential downpoured here all day yesterday (which is EXACTLY what we needed) and for the first time (since I was laid off) I got to just lay in bed and listen to the rain and SLEEP.  And was it ever glorious.  I may have even convinced the Mister to snooze a million few more times than he usually does and Koda didn't seem as urgent to get up and eat and go trotting outside in the rain (i.e., he's a wimp and HATES getting his feet wet or going outside in the rain, but LOVES the pool?  go figure.) like HE usually does.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the morning.  Last night we went to a fellow preggie friend's house and had the most amazing soup EVER.  It was pretty much queso in soup form.  That's how good it was.  With some yummy cornbread, not to mention just all around great company.  Today I have nothing to do whatsoever.  So, with that I'm going to start (REALLY late) ...

I wanted to show y'all the necklace I recently got to represent our little upcoming family.

{In case you can't tell, that's a big "M" & "K" for mommy and daddy and tiny "C" for little Caleb!  They're stackable strands, I LOVE them!!!}

I've been wanting something that represents the three of us for awhile but haven't found what I wanted until I saw these!  Now, for all you Koda fans (like myself) out there let me just tell you that I wrestled back and forth between getting a tiny "K" for Koda bear (my first child) but what it came down to was money.  I would've had to pay for another strand and just didn't want to have to do that.  But believe me, the fur baby is loved in more ways that any little furball should be.  And he will be until he's old and gray.  I had a talk with him and he's okay about not being on the necklace strand.  The treat I gave him seemed to suffice ...

And speaking of being thoughtless, just a fun little tidbit about pregnant me yesterday.  It was about that time to get some gas so I pulled into the closest gas station and went inside to pay for my gas (we're an all cash family, no credit cards so this is why I was doing it the old fashioned way) and came back outside after paying.  To do what?  Get in my car and drive off.  Thankfully I realized "Something's wrong with this picture." when my gas light was still going off AFTER I left the gas station and went back before anyone got in my spot.  Oh pregnant brain rears it's ugly head again.

And that's all from me today loves!  Thanks for hangin' in there with me as I've become a horrible blogger lately, now off to read what y'all have been up to!!!

(Also P dittle S - I read all your TT posts last week, my little Notebook computer I have wasn't/hasn't been letting me comment for some reason these days, but I just wanted to let y'all know I read them and to thank you for playing!!!)

  10. I have a confession: when I had just gotten my driver's license I was so excited to drive through my first drive-thru and I paid for my food and just drove off without it! I was NOT pregnant so I have no excuse!!
